Antique print of the Statue of Achilles, erected in Hyde Park, by command of King George 111. Dedicated to the Duke of Wellington, ‘and his brave companions in arms.’ cast from the cannon taken from Napoleon’s army. Print dated 1828 and published 1830. Antique print supplied mounted to 10×8 inches in conservation quality ‘antique white’ mount-board. Engraved area approx. 6×4 inches. A nice ready-to-frame antique gift!
