It is one of the four chief Norman castles of Cornwall, the others being Launceston, Tintagel and Trematon. Original copper-plate engraved print from ‘The Antiquities of England and Wales’ by Francis Grose, dated in the plate 23 June 1784. Paper size approx. 11 x 7.5 inches. A rare item in excellent condition.
