Contains extracts from the 1861 Census on aspects of Manchester Salford life such as: Area, Physical Geography, Parliamentary Divisions, Population of towns, Education, Crime, Births Marriages and Deaths (including the number of illegitimate births!) and those signing with a mark. Paper size 18.75 x 13.25 inches. Binding holes at top encroach slightly on title. A nice clean and rare map other than two small foxing spots mid-left of map.
