Ludgershall Castle. Antique print of Ludgershall Castle a ruined 12th-century fortified royal residence at Ludgershall in Wiltshire, England. Three large walls still remain of the castle, which was turned into a hunting lodge by Henry III but fell into disuse by the 15th century. 

Original copper-plate engraved print from ‘The Antiquities of England and Wales’ by Francis Grose, dated in the plate 20th. February 1775. Paper size approx. 10.75 x 8 inches. . Excellent condition. A rare item.
