Childwall Hall Liverpool Lancashire. Childwall Hall was a 19th-century English country house located in Childwall, Liverpool, England. Built on the site of a previous mansion of the same name the Gothic Revival building was the seat of parliamentarian Bamber Gascoyne, a noted opponent of the abolition of slavery. Antique print by John Preston Neale (1780–1847) an English architectural and landscape draughtsman. Published 1847 in ‘The Mansions of England or Picturesque Delineations of the Seats of Noblemen and Gentlemen’. Approx. size of image 6×3.5ins. Supplied mounted in a 10×8 antique white mount.
