Sir William Arthur Hamar Bass (1879 – 1952) From the brewing family. He was a British racehorse owner and a significant contributor to the racing industry. Jockey Club steward. He also provided support for the British film industry in its early days. Educated at Harrow School and started at Trinity College, Cambridge but left to join 10th Royal Hussars. Original Vanity Fair antique print published 1905. Some minor creasing to the margins but printed area sound (would mount well for framing.) .
