St Martha's Hill Surrey antique print 1785

St Martha’s Hill is a landmark in St Martha in Surrey, England between the town of Guildford and the village of Chilworth. Its current church has some medieval stone incorporations from the 12th-century predecessor (rebuilt 1848-1850 by Henry Woodyer.) 

Original copper-plate engraving, with later added colour, from the John Strype edition of Stow’s Survey of London dated 20th. May, 1785. Paper size approx. 15.25 x 9.5 inches. Size of engraved area approx. 5 x 6 inches. Nice condition.
