Original page from The Illustrated London News dated April 8th. 1865 with the caption: “Our Iron-clad Fleet: HMS Minotaur, Built on the Thames.” Built at Blackwall by the Thames Ironworks and Shipbuilding Company, she was the flagship of the Channel Squadron. Paper size 15.75 x 11 inches. Full page illustration in nice condition.
