Huntingdonshire antique map from Cassell’s County Atlas, published c.1864. Original hand-coloured. Contains extracts from the 1861 Census on aspects of Huntingdonshire life including: Area, Physical Geography, Parliamentary Divisions, Population of towns, Education, Crime, Births Marriages and Deaths (includes the number of illegitimate births!) Paper size 18.75 x 13.25. Binding holes well beyond printed area. A nice clean map, with just a small foxing spot to the right of Peterborough (see scan.)
