Original page from the Illustrated London News of 24th. September 1859, reporting the death of the designer/engineer of the Great Eastern, Isambard Kingdom Brunel. He also built the S.S. Great Western and S.S. Great Britain and the Saltash Bridge and the Hungerford Suspension Bridge Approx. size of paper 16×10.75 inches. A nice clean item. .
