Indian Army British Indian Empire. Scarce image of an Officer of the Central India Horse. Pencil note top right identifies officer as Risaldar-Major Baha-Ud-Din Khan, together with his service record. He was ADC to the Viceroy and served with distinction as his row of medals indicates. He was part of the escort in the Khyber Pass with Major Cavagnary. Dated in the plate 1897, published 1900. Vivid colour printing by Dangerfield Printing Co. Ltd. of Bedford Street, London. Dimensions of the paper are 14×10 inches. Printed area approx. 11×9 inches. Print has full margins which are not captured by the scan.
