November 1899, ‘The Illustrated London News’ carried this front-page image of the Scots Greys above the caption, “Troops for the Front: The Scots Greys in Review Order.” ‘The Greys’ were on their way to South Africa to join British forces during the Boer War (1899-1902.) Guaranteed original antique item measuring approx. 11 x 16 inches. Very good condition.
