Antique steel engraving of Vauxhall Bridge. First iron bridge to cross the River Thames. Seen from Millbank, London. Dated in the plate 1827, published c.1830. Print supplied mounted to 10×8 inches in conservation quality ‘antique white’ mount-board. A nice clean example of a Thomas Shepherd image, with later added colour. Engraved area approx. 6×4 inches. A nice ready-to-frame antique gift.
