Burlington Gardens antique print published 1870. Frontispiece Ltd guarantee this wood-block engraving to be a genuine antique item published in ‘The Illustrated London News’ on 14th. May 1870. Identified by the ILN as buildings for London University, 6 Burlington Gardens was home to the university’s administration from 1870 to 1900. From 1900 it was occupied by the Civil Service Commission. It then became the Museum of Mankind until finally being purchased in 2001 by the Royal Academy of Arts. Paper size 15.75 x 10.75 inches. A nice clean print in excellent condition
