Rhuddlan Castle, Denbighshire, Wales erected by Edward I in 1277 (here located in Flintshire and titled as Rhudland.) An original copper-plate engraving published in Francis Grose's "Antiquities of England and Wales," dated in the plate 1773. Paper size 10.75 x 8 inches. Very good condition save for a small foxing mark to the right of centre. A rare print published 3 years before the American War of Independence!
