Christchurch Priory. Once a monastery, it was given to the town for use as a parish church by Henry VIII after the dissolution in 1540. Original copper-plate engraved print from ‘The Antiquities of England and Wales’ by Francis Grose, dated in the plate 5th. May 1784. Paper size approx. 10.75 x 8 inches. Excellent condition. A rare item.
