Antique print of Trematon Castle, situated near Saltash in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It was the caput of the feudal barony of Trematon. It is similar in style to the later Restormel Castle, with a 12th-century keep. Trematon Castle overlooks Plymouth Sound. Original copper-plate engraved print from ‘The Antiquities of England and Wales’ by Francis Grose, dated in the plate 7th. August, 1787. Paper size approx. 10.75 x 8 inches. Engraved area 5 x 6 inches. A rare item in very good condition.
